ELEVATING INTERIORS WITH LIGHT, SHADOW, AND SOUND CONTROL

The Plyboo Louver series features intricately carved panels and slats that play with light and shadow, creating depth and defining spaces. Inspired by the timeless appeal of louvers in architecture, the collection provides an understated, refined aesthetic while also enhancing sound control. Each panel’s angular positions and perforations contribute to a sophisticated interplay of form and function, making them ideal for high-impact design applications.

“We’ve collaborated with Robin Reigi for nearly fifteen years, and it’s exciting to create something that speaks directly to their most discerning designers and architects.”

SIGNATURE REAL CORE BAMBOO PANELS

Crafted from Plyboo’s Real Core bamboo, the Louver Plyboo Millwork Collection includes a range of distinctive patterns, from the linear Wind Sail and Slat designs to the more interpretive Butterfly and Bias options. Each pattern enhances space division and serves as a striking wall feature.

The larger Butterfly and Wind Sail patterns are available in Plyboo Sound for enhanced acoustics. With an NRC rating of .70 when backed with Plyboo Quiet wall material, these panels offer effective sound absorption, making them a top choice for acoustical applications.

Our goal was to develop patterns that emphasize the relationship between light and shadow within our materials, evoking the restrained elegance of louvers in modern architecture.

VERSATILE OPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS

The Plyboo Louver millwork panel collection is available in standard sizes of 4’x8’ and 4’x10’ (special order), with ASTME 84 Class C or Class B fire ratings and, in many cases, Class A fire ratings. Choose from seven standard colors in either oil-based or water-based finishes, as well as Plyboo’s unique duotone treatments, which create high-contrast metallic effects suited for both warm and cool color palettes.

“The Louver collection reflects the clean, restrained aesthetic that appeals to many designers. We’re confident it will become a versatile staple across diverse projects.”
