Shinnoki is at Rag & Bone’s new SoHo flagship store. The perfectly prefinished wood veneers reflects the brand’s signature blend of classic British tailoring and modern minimalism. The in-house design team reimagined the space with understated elegance, creating a warm, sophisticated shopping experience where craftsmanship and contemporary design meet.

The goal was to enhance the retail experience with a space that feels both inviting and timeless while staying true to the brand’s minimalist roots.

MATERIAL SPOTLIGHT: SHINNOKI WOOD VENEERED PANELS
To achieve the desired aesthetic, the design team selected Shinnoki Cinnamon Triba wood veneered panels for their rich, inviting grain and deep-brushed texture. The natural warmth of the wood perfectly complements the store’s refined yet edgy atmosphere.
The prefinished panels not only enhanced the visual appeal but also streamlined the installation process—an essential factor for a retail renovation with tight project timelines.

ECO-CONSCIOUS CRAFTSMANSHIP
Sustainability was a key priority throughout the redesign. The FSC-certified Shinnoki panels were chosen not only for their aesthetics but also for their eco-friendly properties. Sourced from responsibly managed forests, they feature a natural wood veneer over a CARB 2-compliant MDF core, reducing the demand for solid wood while ensuring long-term durability.
A UV-cured lacquer finish further extends the panels’ lifespan while minimizing maintenance—making them an ideal choice for a high-traffic retail space.
