Located in Southampton, New York, the newly opened Håndværk store is a refined expression of the brand’s dedication to timeless design, quality craftsmanship, and sustainable materials. Known for its impeccably crafted essentials, Håndværk sought to translate its minimalist philosophy into a physical space. The result is a store that feels serene, intentional, and inviting.

Designed under the creative direction of Norm Architects the boutique embodies a sense of quiet luxury. Every design element was carefully considered to foster a tranquil and immersive shopping experience. This approach allows the brand’s carefully curated collections to take center stage. Renowned for its ability to blend Scandinavian simplicity with natural materiality, Norm Architects knew Shinnoki was the right choice for this design. 

SHINNOKI PREFINISHED WOOD VANEERED PANELS 

A key component of the store’s aesthetic is the use of Shinnoki prefinished wood veneered panels. The Natural Oak panels play a central role in defining the space’s warm and tactile atmosphere. Accordingly, the material was chosen for its ability to bring natural beauty into the space while maintaining a clean and contemporary feel.

As part of Decospan’s commitment to responsible forestry, Shinnoki wood panels are sourced from sustainably managed forests. This ensures minimal environmental impact. Additionally, its prefinished surface reduces the need for on-site finishing, lowering emissions and waste.
