Smith & Fong Co., manufacturer of Plyboo® bamboo products, proudly announced its certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This certification reflects their commitment to responsible forest management and environmental stewardship. It also enables Plyboo to offer the world’s first FSC-certified bamboo plywood and flooring, sourced from a responsibly managed bamboo forest.

A MILESTONE IN SUSTAINABLE BAMBOO
Because receives FSC certification, Smith & Fong’s certified bamboo products now hold the FSC Pure designation. This means they are crafted from 100% FSC-certified bamboo, grown without irrigation, pesticides, or fertilizers. This achievement was confirmed by Institut für Marktökologie (IMO), a European FSC-certifier. IMO verified Smith & Fong’s bamboo sourcing met the same rigorous standards required for traditional tree forests.
